About NJWR

The Nigeria Journal of Water Resources (NJWR) was established in the year 1991 to manage publications pertaining water and water resources.

Our Objective

To promote Research and Development of Water Resources in Nigeria. To provide a platform for stakeholders to contribute to the analyses and proffer solutions to problems regarding all aspects of Water Resources Development and Management in Nigeria.

What We Do

NJWR is a bi-annual journal of National Water Resources Institute, which is published in June and December. The two issues of a year make up a volume.
The journal aims at featuring articles that contribute to the knowledge base in all aspects of Water Resources Development and Management.
It provides a forum for the publication of original research works in water resources and related fields.
Special interest is given for papers which increases existing knowledge and can be applied generally.

The Process

It features articles and research works that can fit to the highest technical and scientific standards attainable in international circles. It aims at publishing only original contributions which show the analyses and solutions to problems as well as prospects in all aspects of water resources development in Nigeria through the Nigerian Journal of Water Resources.
